Diversity Within

Death of a Salesman: Behavior Characteristics Paper

Reflection: Presentation

My research on behavioral characteristics and the characters in Death of a Salesman led to many diverse connections. I focused my paper on the four main characters in the play, Willy, Linda, Biff and Happy Loman. I chose to direct my paper towards these four character's behaviors and how they interacted. Their diverse personalities sparked my research on how certain behaviors affected the character's actions.

Willy, being the main character, allowed. for some great insight of an explanation into his behaviors and actions. Basically, explaining why he acted like a crazy person.

Linda Loman was the character that interested me the most because of her mystery. Throughout the play, Linda's feelings, emotions and actions are never explained fully.

Biff and Happy are the two sons of Willy and Linda Loman. Biff and Happy's behaviors were very vivid. The play did not hesitate to mention every single behavior and action of the two sons. I found that researching on their behavior characteristics was entertaining.

Overall, I came across many different examples of how characters in Death of a Salesman exhibited diverse behavior characteristics.
